I’ve been really excited about the new Little Prince movie that was recently released here in Canada but apparently not in the US? This was one of my favourite books when I was in elementary school and of course I had to make it into a wrap. The first piece will be available for purchase at the Great Cloth Diaper Change here in Edmonton on Saturday April 23 2016. Stay tuned to my Facebook page for more info on that.

Weaving is well underway for Opus 12. I was very lucky to have a great custom mama who picked fantastic colours. There is something like 17 different colours in this warp and they just work together so well! Can’t wait to see how the other weft choices look. 
The first piece of Opus 11 is off the loom and all finished. I LOVE the way the colours have come together on this one. I will be offering 2 semi-custom spots on this warp. If your name is drawn, you get to pick your weft colour and either plain weave or pebble. If you are interested in one of these pieces of Opus 11, please fill out the draw form that I’ll be posting on my Facebook page shortly.
So, in an effort to get my name out there and get some feed back I’ve decided to ship a couple wraps off for testing. I’ve sent off Opus 8, no. 1 and Opus 9, no. 2.
They are travelling around to some experienced baby wearers and testers and now I wait! It felt good to send them out knowing that they will be used instead of just sitting here looking pretty in my basket. Keep an eye out for updates as I start to get some feedback. Here’s a peek at the first piece of Opus 10 that has already gone off to live with a wonderful mama. For now, I am just about done weaving the last piece of Opus 10 and am hoping to have everything wet finished and hemmed before I set off travelling myself! Well, I’ve been weaving and waiting for my test results to come in officially so that I can start really selling my baby wraps. I’m having a blast playing with colours and textures and slowly improving my whole process of measuring the warp and dressing the loom.
